Love and Romance

Love and Romance was the theme of another swap I did in February. In this swap, you were required to make a card and send enough pieces for the recipient to make another two cards-it was a card kit of the month swap. This was created by Emily Wilhite. It's hard to see but there is glitter on the dress.

Wear Red Day

This card was also from Vaudene Tanaka. It was part of a swap club I was in.The theme was February Holidays-so Vaudene selected Wear Red Day. The club was fine for me as it was a one on one swap. Unfortunately, something changed and it made me and others very unhappy. Someday I will write about it. For now, enjoy this pretty card.

The Eyes Have It!

Such a mysterious card. This was a traveling RAK, which means I sent it on to another lucky recipient after savoring it. I have no idea who made it and it was showing its age when I received it. Everyone who had received it had signed the inside and it had many names. It was done with Stitch Wizardry (from the sewing section) and embossing powders.

Scarecrow on Wood

Here is another Traveling RAK that has been passed on a long ways. The background paper for this card is a napkin! I hear that this is quite the rage in the UK. I never buy napkins but always use old towels torn up for cleanups. The image here was stamped on a bit of very thin wood-perhaps balsa wood.

This is so gorgeous that a photo just can't do it justice. I hope whoever has received it since me enjoyed it as much as I did.

Happy Everything!

This incredible card is from Jenn Balcer and if you want to see glitter used in the bestest ways, visit her blog at Split Coast Stampers here . And for more goodies, visit her gallery !

Galoshes

I received this springy card recently from Diane (with no last name). It was part of blog candy won from her blog but I cannot find her last name anywhere. Diane, if you see this, email me so I can give you proper credit.

Glass Butterfly

The incredible artist on this is the owner of Pat Stamps and Technique Junkies websites. Pat Huntoon sent me this card which used technique from her bi-monthly newsletter.

Victorian Woman

This beauty was created by Vaudene Tanaka from the Technique Junkies One-on-One list. I received it in September 2007. It used several aging methods. You can find more about Technique Junkies here .

Introducing Paper 'N Fire

Welcome.... I named this blog after one of my favorite John Mellencamp songs. Most know that Paper and Fire don't mix. But here it will.

This will be the blog I use to display my swaps and RAKs. I have quite a few to upload now and would like to let everyone see them as I get time to load them. If I know who sent them, I will display their names and their blogs if known. Thanks for stopping to see what others have created.
