Fairy Princess Sprite

Risa West Is a card making goddess! I received this card quite a while ago and photographed it right away but it got lost in the insane organization of my photo files. If you ask me I will tell you I hate square cards! At least I hate creating them. But how could anyone hate this pretty?  Some people have the knack of creating these so pretty and balanced. Risa is one of them.

Risa just lives a few miles up I75 from me here in mid Michigan  and I always say we are going to meet up someday. Problem is, I haven't been up that way in over a year. More like 2 years depending on where I was going shopping.  I have heard the  scrap shop moved twice! Maybe I should make a road trip. First gotta get a working car, however.  Please go visit Risa's blog and all the links to the design teams she has worked on. This is one incredibly talented and in-demand artist.

Knapsacked Tilda Runs Away!

It's been a while since I last posted anything to this blog. I have received many a wonderful card or special creation in the mail during the  last three years, but I just always forget to put them here. I will try to be more efficient.

I received this beautiful card from  Stephanie Hester of Huntsville, Mo for my birthday in December 2010. I don't know Stephanie at all yet she was the only person to remember my birthday. This card has been sitting on my desk amid all my rumble taunting me. You see, like Tilda, I want to run away. I would love it if for just one week, I would have nothing to worry about, nothing to think about and nothing to "do" but just be.

This is a close up of Tilda and if any of you seeing this haven't seen Magnolia stamps at shows or local stamps stores, do your wallet a work out and shop HERE or HERE or HERE, as they seem to have the best selections, prices and usually have a deal on shipping. I shop at all three at least once a quarter, so I would not suggest a place to spend the dollars unless I shopped them and felt good about it.

Please make sure to visit Stephanie's blog for some incredible ideas for using Magnolia stamps. You will love them all!
